Amazon Free Days Long-Term Success

I'm writing an article about using KDP Select and making your book free. I'm interested in long-term results. I know there's a bounce even a month after the book is free but what about after that month? For those of you who have done it, what has been your long term results with making your book free? From one month to even a year, what has been the results? Thanks,KimanziSee More

48 days podcast.
I want to interact with other people that are tired of settling in situations that aren't right for them because that's what society has taught us to do!!
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I own a bread business, and have for the last ten years. I recently wrote and published an ebook, here's the site: http://talesofwork.com/blog/
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
Would love to write and speak and career counsel anyone who is stuck in a bad work situation. I've been there so I know how it is!
How about your personal life? Any specific goals or achievements or dreams you are pursuing (or want to pursue)?
I want to have residual income so I can spend more time with my family and be there every chance I have for my kids!
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
Writing, speaking, and teacher. When it comes to a bad work situation, I can do these things from experience!

The Secret Enemy of Change

Posted on October 3, 2012 at 4:47pm 3 Comments

There has been something I've been ashamed and scared to say out loud: I'm over-weight.

More than that, I have never been able to tell anyone how much I actually weigh. I hope by me getting over my pride that this will help someone: I weigh 333 pounds. It makes me cringe to even write that number!

Here the one silvering lining, I lost 6 pounds last week, Yeah!

Two years ago I weighed 332 pounds…

Sometimes Bad Things Happen While Chasing Your Dreams

Posted on July 3, 2012 at 3:35pm 5 Comments

I had the awesome privilege this weekend to chase my dreams by speaking at a conference in Reno, Nevada. I was told by several in the audience that it went well despite some upsetting circumstances.

I flew U.S. Airways from Milwaukee to Reno, with a layover in Phoenix. When I entered the plane to Reno from Phoenix they told me I had to…

Sometimes It Takes A Death To Understand Life

"The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord"
It's real easy to quote this verse in good times, but what about when you're going through a loss? Do you really believe it?

On Saturday April 28, 2012 my father died, and it hurts so bad.

He was 54 years old, he died in his sleep from heart disease, none of our family…

What's Your Story?

Posted on April 27, 2012 at 4:11pm 0 Comments

For over ten years I have been in a job that has not only made me miserable but has taken time away from the things that are important to me. From the outside looking in, people would tell me to shut up and stop complaining, I make good income and have a pretty flexible schedule.

The problem is the hours, starting work at 2 a.m. really sucks! It means to get a decent night's sleep I have to…

Kimanzi, Big shout out on your book. I loved it. Thank you for the inspiration.

Step 7: Tying up Loose Ends (Have a backup Plan) was really something that I needed. I had been putting so much pressure on myself to make my dream happen so quickly that my body shut down and I was pretty sick. I have since made some plans and feel the connection moving forward.

I also loved when you shared "Aren't you tired of the seesaw ride, tired of seeing some success only to revert back to where you just came from?" For so long I was like a mouse who would scurry out of his hole, sniff the treat, get scared and run back. My mentorship with many great people on 48 Days has given me the courage to tap in to my gifts.

Thanks again for your ministry.
