When Is It Time to Spend Money on Your Dream?

—In 2012, I was making progress on my dream. I was over the horrible defeat of no one buying or caring about my book. I had a plan to grow my audience, exposure and hopefully my income. At that point, I wondered if I should hire a coach. I thought about it and talked to my wife. We were skeptical. We settled on a compromise; I would take a course offered by a well-known online marketer. The course…See More

The 5 Basics for Building an Online Business That Actually Makes Money

Posted on June 14, 2015 at 7:00pm 7 Comments

With the boom of the Internet and social media has arisen a new category of entrepreneurship. Successful entrepreneurs such as Mark Cuban, Elon Musk, and Peter Thiel got their start with online businesses. An online business offers an unparalleled opportunity to run a business worldwide with only a laptop and Internet connection.…

Online Business Ideas

Posted on July 1, 2014 at 5:49pm 0 Comments

Starting an online business is hard work, especially when you don’t know what business you want to start. When you do have an idea it’s probably too general. That’s exactly how I started out.

It was a good business coach (thanks Gene) that helped me get some clarity and narrow in. From the time I started my online business until the time it actually supported our family was about two years.

I know I could have gotten here quicker if I had been specific from the start. If I…

The Numbers That Really Matter For Your Online Business

Posted on May 16, 2014 at 11:08am 5 Comments

In 2012 I really started to figure out all this online business stuff and made real money. My two self-published books had sold over 40,000 copies by mid 2012 at a profit of $3.78 a book. I wish we could have saved the money but every  dollar…

Kimanzi, Big shout out on your book. I loved it. Thank you for the inspiration.

Step 7: Tying up Loose Ends (Have a backup Plan) was really something that I needed. I had been putting so much pressure on myself to make my dream happen so quickly that my body shut down and I was pretty sick. I have since made some plans and feel the connection moving forward.

I also loved when you shared "Aren't you tired of the seesaw ride, tired of seeing some success only to revert back to where you just came from?" For so long I was like a mouse who would scurry out of his hole, sniff the treat, get scared and run back. My mentorship with many great people on 48 Days has given me the courage to tap in to my gifts.

Thanks again for your ministry.
