Profile Information

How did you hear about 48Days.NET, and what do you hope to get out of being a part of this community?
I heard about this powerful network by visiting the 48 days site. I am thrilled to be joining a group of people who are actively pursuing their dreams. There is nothing like being around people who are taking those necessary steps to cause their dreams to come to full fruition. I believe that I will grow by both following the stories of fellow members, as well as gaining their input and advice. I have no doubt that I will be inspired by the actions that my fellow community members are taking to walk into their respective destinies. I know that accountability is key for me. I hope that your actions will provoke me to further action. As I am inspired, I truly hope to serve as an inspiration to others as I take those bold steps necessary to fulfill my own destiny. I am so glad that I finally made it here. I am so excited about the possibilities. Let the journey begin.
What is your current work situation? Employee, self-employed, generating any income on your own?
I am self-employed at this time. I am currently developing several exciting and innovative projects.
And then...what is your goal/dream for your work life?
I am dedicated to investing in the lives of others by sharing valuable and potentially life-changing information and resources. I focus on that which is designed to strengthen marriages, inspire singles to live more powerful lives, equip youth & young adults with the information that they need in order to live successful lives and assist individuals in identifying work that affords them the opportunity to spend more time with their families and to live more enjoyable, balanced and fulfilled lives.
What would you say are your strongest talents? How are you 'wired' and what can you offer to the world (it's OK if you don't know yet, but knowing is key to pursuing your dreams!)?
I love working with people. I am definately a teacher who desires to motivate and inspire. I am a motivational speaker and trainer. I am driven to positively impact the lives of others.
If you have a product or service to promote (now or in the near future) this is your shot to state it! Say all you'd like:
I am currently offering an incredible series that is designed to provide singles with valuable insight about marriage and to share critical issues that must be considered before deciding to marry someone. www.karenfeliceallen.net

Good morning Chuck,

I am referring to the "Listen To Chuck" link. The audio podcast starts as soon as the page opens. Again, great site.

Thanks Karen for your thoughts. Yes, I do like to colors as well!

I'm a little confused re: the podcast that begins to play when you open the page. On which page does that happen? Funny, it's not something we designed in!

Yes, I'm still working on the homepage testimonials. I do want them to rotate without a screen refresh, and I do share your thoughts on the audio or video testimonials. Honestly, it's a LOT easier to get folks to do an audio testimonial so that is where I'll likely go.

Thanks for your very kind words and taking the time to share them with me, my friend. Be encouraged!

Hello Chuck, I apologize for the delay in response. I did not want to just give a hasty response. I wanted to take the time to revisit your site and to give you my thoughtful assessment. I really like the color scheme and the imagery of the sky on the first page. The color scheme is vibrant. The color scheme coupled with the sky background is very uplifting and inspiring. The sky makes me think of the unending and limitless possibilities that exist for those who are truly pursuing their God-given destinies. I also like the fact that you have a podcast that starts to play as soon as the page opens. This is extremely inviting. Hey Chuck, please tell me that my eyes are not playing tricks on me. Wasn't there another person's testimonial on the front page just a few minutes ago? I think testimonials are great. What are your thoughts about live video or even a podcast or podcasts of the individuals verbally sharing their respective stories? I personally think that people telling "their stories" sometimes brings an added dimension to a project. Your thoughts? The site is very easy to navigate and I ABSOLUTELY AND TOTALLY love your mission statement. You give lots of information here especially in the blog section. I hope that this is somewhat helpful.

Hey Karen, thanks for following me on Twitter! And for checking out my site. What do you like best about the site? How do you like the home page? Any recommendations?

Try doing this for your podcast. All you need to do is:

- Record it. Try a free (but powerful) download software call Audacity. Google and download it.
- Save it in a format suitable for the internet. I use .mp3, 32kbps, 11025hz
- Upload it to a free service called Podomatic.com. They'll host it, give you the feed for iTunes and some code you can copy and paste on your website to play it.

That's it! Let me know how it goes.
